ABOUT THIS JOB


Our company is currently seeking an HR Assistant to join our HR and Accounting team. You will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support to the Human Resources team. The HR Assistant must be detail oriented, organized, flexible, and able to handle multiple projects at any given time. Have the ability to communicate effectively, follow up on projects, and address employees needs. HR ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Assist with employee recruiting functions, as needed, including background checks and job offers

  • Assist in arranging interviews for contract positions

  • Onboarding for new employees/contractors. Process new hire paperwork ensuring that the required documents have been submitted. Includes I-9 verifications

  • Collect and organize contractors data such as contracts, W-9 and W-8 forms, etc.

  • Ensure contractors invoices are collected in a timely & accurate manner

  • Maintain professional relationships with new and existing employees & contractors

  • Create/prepare reports and maintain required documentation for compliance purposes

  • Update company organizational chart / seating chart

  • Assist with company events/All-Hands meetings

  • Assists HR Team with any projects requiring additional help

  • Assists HR Team to update new hire orientation/onboarding/offboarding processes and documentations

  • Special projects and other duties as assigned


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • 1+ years of experience in HR Operations or HR Administration

  • High school diploma, some college preferred

  • Experience with HRIS systems preferred

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Products: Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills are required
