We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Content Writer with a strong background in finance and business writing. This role will primarily focus on creating engaging, SEO-optimized content for blogs, social media, and other digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in personal finance, business strategies, investment planning, and entrepreneurship. We need someone who is not only a talented writer but also an effective content manager. A plus if you’re comfortable on camera when needed for video content!
Position Overview
The Content Specialist will be responsible for crafting high-quality written content that educates, informs, and engages our audience on topics related to personal finance, savings, investment strategies, business, entrepreneurship, and financial planning. The candidate will also manage the content lifecycle, from ideation and writing to posting and promotion on various platforms, including social media. This role requires strong copywriting, SEO skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation and Management:
Research and write high-quality blog posts, articles, and social media content focused on finance, savings, investment strategies, financial planning, business, and entrepreneurship.
Develop content that aligns with our brand voice and SEO best practices to drive traffic and engagement.
Manage the content calendar, ensuring timely creation and publication of all pieces.
Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and grammatical correctness.
Monitor and analyze content performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics).
Stay updated on industry trends, news, and best practices, incorporating relevant insights into content.
Content Promotion and Optimization:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement content promotion strategies across social media and other channels.
Optimize content for SEO to improve search rankings and visibility.
Repurpose existing content into various formats, including video scripts, infographics, and social media posts.
On-Camera Presence:
Participate in video content when needed, providing insights and expertise on finance and business topics.
Work with the video production team to develop and deliver engaging video scripts and presentations.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Content Writer or Specialist, particularly in finance, business, or related fields.
Strong understanding of personal finance, business development, savings strategies, investment principles, and financial planning.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
2+ years of experience with SEO best practices and tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, etc.).
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
Experience with content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
Strong communication skills and the ability to present on camera comfortably.
Ability to work independently, with strong organizational and time management skills.
