Compliance Assistant
ABOUT THIS JOB
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Assistant to support our legal and compliance teams in ensuring all advertising and marketing practices meet legal and industry standards. This role involves auditing advertisements, reporting violations, and coordinating with internal departments to address compliance issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports General Counsel to resolve any outstanding marketing violations.
Provides periodic review of website script and terms and update to ensure compliance.
File maintenance and document tracking.
Evaluate and interpret policies to determine necessary actions.
Monitor and review 50–100 marketing accounts daily using compliance tools such as Integrashield and Lashback.
Review submitted marketing materials, landing pages, and advertisements from publishers for compliance violations and provide feedback.
Flag any non-compliant content and follow defined processes for escalation and resolution.
Provide ongoing administrative support to the compliance team, including scheduling, documentation, and tracking updates.
Review and respond to customer communications.
Review websites and marketing content to ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of ad submissions, reviews, and compliance status within relevant systems.
Collaborate with internal teams to support quality control and ensure timely compliance reviews.
Stay current on compliance trends, best practices, and platform updates related to digital marketing.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Minimum High School Diploma; work experience to support ability to perform job duties highly preferred.
1+ years of general administrative experience, preferentially in a compliance/legal setting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
High attention to detail.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Basic knowledge of digital and social media marketing practices.
Ability to work independently and take initiative in resolving outstanding compliance issues.
